Summer exhibition by Malin Gabriella Nordin

16 May-29 September

Carl Eldh Studio Museum is glad to present the artist Malin Gabriella Nordin (b.1988), renowned for her colorful abstract paintings and organic compositions. With a highly personal style, Nordin’s artistry moves between drawing, painting and collage to small and large-scale sculptures. An intuitive and transcendental painting practice that, at Carl Eldh’s, evolve into new sculptural forms. The summer exhibition mainly presents new and site-specific works and by opening the studio in new ways, our visitors will get a unique insight into the artist’s process.

A catalog is published in conjunction with the exhibition, with an in-depth essay by author Zara Kjellner and photos by photographer Märta Thisner, who has followed the artist for the past 10 years.

Carl Eldhs Studio Museum would like to extend a warm thank you to the museum and exhibition’s generous supporters Pontus Bonnier, Barbro Osher Pro Suecia Foundation and Anne-Marie Lembcke – The Ad Infinitum Foundation as well as the City of Stockholm, the Culture Council and Region Stockholm for significant cultural support.
