Carl Eldh's Sculptures in New Light

Recently, the lighting conditions for a selection of Carl Eldh's public sculptures in Stockholm has been improved and renewed. This pilot project in collaboration with  Trafikkontoret, Stockholm konst and Stockholms stadsmuseum is hopefully followed by a survey and renewal of the entire lighting of the city's public works of art.

We graciously suggest an evening stroll to view Eldh's sculptures in a new light; the bas reliefs on the facade of the school Östra real and on the wall facing Karlavägen, The Eldh Fountain at the corner of Birger Jarlsgatan and Grev Turegatan, The Branting Monument on Norra bantorget, The Strindberg Monument (The Titan) in Tegnérlunden and The Young Strindberg in the Archipelago next to Carl Eldh's Studio Museum in Bellevueparken.
